Hi all
Hi all, i'm new on here.
I recentlly bought a standard (except 17" wheels) my99 wagon. I first drove an Impreza in about 2000 at a preveous job, where we drove tuned turbo cars everyday. I was so impressed by the standard Impreza that day, not because of the power, it had less power than most of our customers cars, but because of the whole package- the way they handle, the way they put the power down, feedback, weight etc So i've finally got one:doubleup: I've spent the last couple of weeks sorting little niggles out, freeing off the 4 pot calipers(will have to rebuild properly soon), fitting a standard set of springs (fronts were way to high, rears were low), cam belt changed, new o2 sensor The next thing i need to sort out is tyres- Landsails on the front and Autogrips on the rear- in the wet this is not a great combination! Welcome along nice to see another classic owner, we're a dying breed. Freeing up 4 pots is a regular job, I seem to get at least one sticky piston a year and mine are stainless.
