I looked at it about 6 weeks ago. Its proper stripped inside, was in spain for a while I believe. I could deal with a bit of a track car but there was barely a thing in it, no dash, no heater etc. Bit to extreme for me.

Could put it back abit I guess . Looks straight and if in Spain could be good underneath?

Could do, too much work for me, had a welded half cage. Carbon door inserts from memory which was a nice touch. Not noticeable rust that I could see. The guys selling was reasonable enough, I think he himself thought it was a but too stripped but he brought a one way train ticket to go look at / buy it :acid:

If i had the spare cash i would buy that if i was aloud to:-D

Have a really good look for rust, it's been in the UK for 10 years now so if it wasn't undersealed when it got here it could be more than just the bubbles on the arches, have a good look along the sills and around the jacking points and try and get a torch up into the rear strut towers. Then it's just the usual stuff like fuel filler neck and the steel brake lines. MOT history looks good though so definitely worth a look.

thanks redbaron i am pretty sure it is scoobychris car i just hope all the problems have been fixed from his earlier posts i am pretty sure they are as he has had a rebuild

As already said have a really good look at the rust as much has its been stated its only tiny bubbles its more than likely behind that there will be considerably more.
Also check out the map its been running as it would appear from the add it hasn't been mapped for the current set up which could cause major engine damage. Also there are not many people around that will/ can still map the Apexi which is now an old piece of kit ( very good in the day but a bit dated now)
Apart from that the MOT history for its pretty good and should tidy up into a decent spec car.

Thank you for the advice. That was a concern of mine that it needed a remap and has there been any damage done internally all ready? he did mention there was a guy in essex at the cost of £199 who could do the remap does that sound about right.
