Drivers window switch failed

Don't suppose anyone has a spare drivers window switch, my auto one has failed. I have a Hawkeye but I understand bugeyes are the same. I have attached a pic.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9d42ed61c9.jpg

I'm pretty sure I've got a full set of spare switches from a bugeye. They're still in the plastic door card inserts which are different on the bug but if you think the switches themselves are the same then easy swap. So you need the 'auto' switch with the single-click window drop?

Switches are one complete unit including door lock and window lock buttons if I remember correctly. Should be the same in bug/blob/hawk.

I gave Dave/Ginola my spare set from my blob, they fitted straight in to his widetrack blob. Ironically it was his drivers window switch that had failed too.

Are they? Damn, I just assumed it was 4 individual switches mounted into a plastic frame/mould that fitted the door card?

Just after the auto switch, was hoping they were separate and all mounted together.

Mine is on its way out too. Works when it wants basically so wouldn't have thought it was too far off giving up the ghost completely. Seen second hand panels for £40 thereabouts so not the end of the world. Anyone have any idea why they stop working? Solder?! Cirtcuitry?! Actual switch mechanism wearing?! Etc etc etc

I'm sure you could take apart clean and it'll work fine

I think that's what I will do at the weekend. Looks like the switches come off on some I have looked at.

I haven't ventured out to the shed yet... it needs to stop raining first!
