SES Breakfast Meet - The Custom Cafe, Bexhill - Sunday 29th October

Hopefully not too short notice for most folks...

This month's meet is a brekkie meet at the Custom Cafe in Bexhill. We've not been before but it was suggested as a good venue for petrolheads wanting a good full english :)

https://www.facebook.com/Thecustomcafe/

https://scontent.flhr4-2.fna.fbcdn.n...65&oe=5A6A3EEF

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/...MfDIgQ_BIIejAK

The meeting time is 8am to get parked up. This venue gets busy later on....
Depending on numbers I will try and book tables for 8:30am.

Sorry guys, I can't make this one, as I'll be watching a load of
very sexy cheerleaders, I mean, Lycra dressed Americans chasing an odd shaped ball around Twickenham that day.
Have fun!

My good wife has just phoned the cafe and changed our booking from 15 to 19 as there's a few more on the list now. :)

See you all bright and early on Sunday :)

(We won't be in the scoob unfortunately... as half of the parts from under the engine bay aren't currently attached!)

Rdlangy1 27-10-2017 04:50 PM

Nice one steve :ok:

Sounds serious, hope you find someone who knows what they are doing to get it all back together and working soon...

Cool cool , shall be fresh at 8am,
But a nice breaky should help with that . See you all there.

Red Baron 28-10-2017 01:08 PM

Well it's had a wipe down with a quick detailer to get the spider droppings off it so I hope you all appreciate the effort I've put in for tomorrow.

Rdlangy1 28-10-2017 01:10 PM

I’ve done nothing - far to windy and damp outside for a decent clean

Yep but it gives you the rest of the day to do other stuff, rather than losing the whole morning :)

Hopefully it's dry and sunny like today!

Yeah rob was saying it was good his way too - his scoob is gleaming!! I ventured out and did Laura’s fiesta - then snow foamed the Audi and the jetwash blew up!

So after sulking I bucket tipped clean water over to rinse and left scoob to get rained on pmsl

Lovely motor and great sound :ok:

Congratulations mate, party sounds good. Don't forget we are in the home of champagne 😎

Red Baron 29-10-2017 03:13 PM

Good to see everyone again, do like a good breakfast on a Sunday morning with like minded people and I thought it was quite reasonable despite someones opinion, I've paid a lot more for a lot less and at least this way there's no clearing up afterwards.

Frenchie 29-10-2017 04:33 PM

No problem, half the price you pay in the UK and better quality. First bottle will be on me.

True gent! :ok:

nikkinokkinoo 29-10-2017 04:48 PM

Nice to see you all

Munks RS sounded epic as he left

Great to see Jason in a Scooby

Was nice to have a run out in the WR1, forgot what it was like boosting out of a roundabout with all that traction.

Small fuel issue on the way there + the engine light is on but I think that's the map. Had to get fuel at a rather unknown brand of station. Could have filled up earlier but they all seemed to be BP and I've head bad things from BP and Scoobys - probably still better than what I actually ended up with. Oh well

Steve_PPP 29-10-2017 08:12 PM

Thanks for coming everyone :ok:

I should have made the choice to go with the bigger full english, as that looked pretty good. But thought i'd go easy and went for the standard sized one - that should be renamed as the 'kids portion'!

Still, great to see everyone for a catch up :)
