Kyb shocks

Lads and lasses, I'm looking to get rid of that dreaded suspension knock when going slowly back or braking to a stop. Has anyone had any dealings with KYB and know what I'm possibly looking for. Been told 334358 and 334359 are the rear shocks for my car. Can anyone confirm that at all please?

Thanks in advance for any info

One confused steff:ok:

those shock numbers are std traditional units but in general terms its the "inverted" struts on the STi's and the later Hawk WRX> that have the potential to knock..........

what age/model exactly and has the car actually been inspected or just an assumption it is the shocker??

Car is an 06 plate blob eye wrx. Has not been inspected by anyone for the knock although the garage i bought it at a couple of weeks ago had the droplink changed. I'm going by what has been described by other people that have experienced the same fault.

Thanks for replying

your car "should" have inverted shox similar to the STi in that case so your part numbers are wrong from memory.......

would strongly suggest getting it checked out as seized roll bar, etc. can give similar symptoms

Yeah deffo has the inverted shocks. Pain in the backside to say the least. A bounce on the corner of the car right about where the suspension is reveals the knock as well. That's why we skipped everything and went straight to the shocks. Will replace anyways as new parts on the car are always good anyways. Thanks for the feedback and will keep in mind about the seized roll bar as well. Will probably upgrade to whiteline eventually on the underneath as well

Thanks for taking the time to reply
