Yes can't recommend Gary enough, but do Keith Michaels send out renewal quotes? As this has just reminded me mine runs out next week and not heard anything!!!

Mine was the same a last year which was £5 less then the year before.
I havn't bothered shopping around since going with Gary.

and that was after filling in their 'Modifications Form' which only allows upto 12 mods, so had to lie about a few....

about the same £510 and in surrey, just renewed.

Spoke to Gary today about mine,saved me almost £400 re-newed there an then :-D

spoke to Gary yesterday to arrange cover on a courtesy car whilst mines in at Gatwick, he gave me a few days cover for no charge, top geezer :doubleup:

Previous insurance companies have charged me for the cover and then added an admin fee!

He is so popular it's untrue, it's not always that easy to get through to him. I have ended up e-mailing him with reference to my windscreen this morning.

phoned up just after 4pm yesterday afternoon, got through first time :mrgreen:

I once phoned A-Plan for a quote just to see how much Gary saves me, they never called me back. Wonder why? :rofl:

just renewed with gary £350 fully comp...this man cannot be beaten...

frustratingly i couldnt get hold of him when i needed to get it sorted, i spoke to the insurance factory, who surprisingly, beat Keith Michaels quote, only by 15 quid, but 15 quid is hard to come by these days for me!!! 585 f/c!
I dont know how everyone is getting such cheap quotes, i am 31 with 7yrs ncb, parked off road, good area, cat 1 and all that! everyone else was quoting me near on 1k, bar a couple at 650 680 etc.

Having spoken to a couple of people, the main reason for the increase is because a lot more poeple are making personal injury claims, even for minor shunts, thats what is costing insurance companies so much money.
If people were a little more honest, and not so money grabbing, then it would still be reasonable to get insured! not to mention the uninsured people.

i paid 520 for my white scoob, my99, 310/290, all mods declared, parked on the road, 2 years on i am paying 70 quid more for a lesser spec parked on the drive!!
i also have no points, no fines, nothing on license, but 1 claim that was non fault 2 years ago, wasnt claimed on my policy.

I have been with aplan for the last few years, but this year Gary is £100 cheaper. Aplan last year I paid £511. This year they wanted £680. Gary did £575 and also placed me with a company that I can get cheap track cover.

I didn't read the whole thread but I find gazza very unresponsive to messages. Good deals an' all that but I want to effing speak to the guy, leave a message, send an email AND GET AN EFFING RESPONSE/CALL BACK!!!!! Happy to take the money an' all that but .... Effing hell!!!!

It's when people leave replies like that, that people dont want to help others out.

I'm sure a message saying... "Gary, I need a quote, could you contact me on ......... asap please. Please don't make me call A Plan. Thanks" would work better :grin:

I think after more the 5 or 6 phone calls and +10 emails without a reply, I can leave whatever kind of post I like - I don't have to worry if he feels like helping me or not - coz he ain't helping me either way, is he?

The most ive ever rang Gary is twice without getting through to him... got to remember he insures nearly all of Scabbynet aswell, so can be very busy

I'm sure he is busy. Much busier than anyone else. Me included!

Been struggling with a trapped nerve in my shoulder/neck, so am doing everything in slow motion at the moment

Am off to the Chiropractor AGAIN tomorrow to try to get it sorted before the weekend, as i'm supposed to be doing a track day at Brands Hatch.

Might need someone to drive the car for me if it's not better by then!!!!

Insuring both of my cars now, not had any problems getting through and good prices, very close to the other quote I got for my focus but went regardless due to the fact i'd rather put both cars through KM due to the service

had a bit of trouble getting hold of Gary, but once through very helpful, great qoute, great service. just a very busy man, but i can understand why, he really is doing a great job.
