A 22B in South East Scoobies

i have finally convinced one of my best mates of 25 yrs to buy a scoob and ditch his TVR and he has done it in style and bought a lovely example of a 22B.
He will be collecting it in a few weeks time and will be joining and attending South East Scoobies :)

Uk spec, one of only 12 left with a cool Nr plate ( L 22B UK ).

Your car is enough to convince anyone into a scoob!

love the look of the 22b, proper menacing looking things!

Can't wait to see it

I know a lot of people who have come from TVR ownership to Subaru

I can understand that Chunk and it's very hard to say to a TVR owner (especially when it's a good friend) how much better a Scoob is.
TVR's without question have an appealing appearance but that's where it stops for most. They are known for bad build quality and going wrong often but how do you tell your mate that?

He can now start ENJOYING motoring and the great friendly community that Scoob owners offer.

But, TVR's are the only other cars to sound anywhere near as nice as a scoob

Skullfudge have you told your friend about how unreliable the 22b is? Dont get me wrong its a proper looker & is a classic in its own right. Relliability is not one of its strong points. They dont do alot of miles as they go bang. Most are wraped up and live in showooms. The rare one's that are used have been forged from low miles due to the quality of the enginel & or ecu fueling isues. If your friend is buying one to look at or take out once in a while then thats ok. If however he intends to use it full time then warn him & have it forged. Once done he will have one of the all time grates.

Skullfudge 23-11-2009 07:05 PM

lol........... all forged with new turbo.
