Exhaust Rumble

Have read somewhere that having ported headers could affect the exhaust rumble?

It gets a bit louder, as we have had ours done:razz:

I think its if you have equal length headers you will loose some of the rumble. Yours are unequal at the moment which is why it sounds nice 8-)

Have equal length, can vouch for the fact you lose the burble.

Does however give you a whole new sound, a little more raspy. At full chat, it sounds like a jet engine(honestly).

Laterial headers are not equal .
They are how ever more equal than standard headers so you loose some of the rumble :drive:

Ok,remember I'am non-technical(I'am an arboriculturist for gods sake),so does this mean if I have my headers ported they become equal/more equal? Thanks.

ported headers use the o.e cast manafolds witch are unequal hence the subaru burble.
