It's 3:30pm and I'm Sitting here waiting for my 'morning' arranged delivery of a limestone fireplace and electric fire......

Oh! I'm so glad I took a days leave to wait for it, arranged for someone to help me shift it and expected to get the job done today......:wa:

We waited for a boiler service yesterday, a morning appointment, only to be phoned at 1pm to say they are not coming until Monday now due to an emergency:roll:

(i know, i'm in all the time anyway but thats not the point:fight:)

Bet you done something to the car today:nod:

yeh reveresed it out the garage and parked it on the grass so the fireplace can be wheeled in to the garage on a pallette.....

Eneded up wrapping the kids christmas presents...all bloody morning.

Well it's only just arrived.
Was promised a morning delivery, then after a call they said it would be here at 3:30pm.
Then at about 6:00pm it turned up....

And to really rub salt into the wounds the pump truck on the couriers van was shafted and the tail lift kept packing up.
So we had to un-pack it on the truck and man-handle it into the garage.

At least I got to inspect for damage.
They said to check for damage before signing...LOL if the pump truck worked there is no way the courier would hang around till I un-packed that lot.

Oh! and bloody hell is that heavy,even the pillars each side are almost a 2-man lift.

Looking forward to knackering my back up for the 2nd christmas running !!!!!!!!!!!

'BIG' thanks to Shane for offering to help fit tomoz.
The fitting will be easy (I hope), it's the carrying/handling that's gonna make us sweat.
