Oh happy sliding days.

Been snowing all day in Reigate, but nothing has settled.

Wish it would settle, been told not to go to work if it does

AndyWRX 09-02-2010 04:44 PM

worzel 10-02-2010 09:13 AM

We had a smattering overnight, only a dusting really, but it is starting to snow a bit now.

No golf on Saturday me thinks! :-(

Yellow ball mate ;-). Some things just shouldn't be cancelled!.

Lucky 10-02-2010 10:59 AM

Actually, if we have a few golfers (not that I am saying I am any good!), it would be nice to organise something for SES when the weather is better.

worzel 10-02-2010 11:11 AM

Now thats a plan. Good call Steve.

Maybe even an annual Event / Cup?

I don't like using green/yellow balls. I reckon if I did go out on Saturday id be more worried about purple balls!

WRX_Paul 10-02-2010 11:39 AM

I would be up for golf, not seriously though as i am Sh!t, probably played about 10 18 holes in total, but i enjoy it, went round Tilgate at best in 112, lol.
I am a classic example of 'all the gear and no-idea'

Well, we could be onto something then with this. We have some great courses around us. An annual event/cup sounds good too. When the time comes I am quite happy to research it and come up with some suggestions.

Lol, dont worry mate. I am the same. I love playing and prob only get out about a dozen times a year and average around 100/110 on 18 too. (Seaford head, Eastbourne and Peacehaven). Singing hills is a nice course and is fairly central.

worzel 10-02-2010 12:26 PM

Lets get it sorted.

The SES Open!

DukeBoy 10-02-2010 01:28 PM

I'm up for that, i'd best get me clubs out for a clean then

worzel 10-02-2010 03:03 PM

Good batting Tigger! :10:

trickie78 10-02-2010 05:23 PM

worzel 10-02-2010 05:37 PM

It looks like a winner this :10:

Steve_PPP 10-02-2010 08:20 PM

i'd come along but i think i'd end up digging holes in the green

scatz 11-02-2010 07:58 AM

Well, there you have it. Woke up to around 4 inches of snow this morning. Took me an age to clear the car. Drove into work, had to drive back from work to take the OH to work, then back to my work only to get sent home which meant I also had to pick the kids up from the MIL all this in 3 hours and with no problems at all............all hail the AWD  PS: The piccy was taken after she'd done her work ;)

worzel 11-02-2010 08:28 AM

It has snowed all around Crowborough for a change.

Driving to work this morning, the hill at Rotherfield has got snow on the top and then in the next set of fields down the slope nothing.

Oh well, makes a nice change not having to battle into work with the morons who can't drive in the stuff.

Scott.T 11-02-2010 08:43 AM

Over me boots this morning in Hastings.
A21 between St.Helens Road and up past Sainsbury's is at a standstill.
Also block between Bexhill Road and Gillsmans Hill.

Chunk 11-02-2010 08:57 AM

Woke up this morning hoping for a lot of snow, but nothing

Maybe tomorrow

Steve_PPP 11-02-2010 09:27 AM
