New or second hand Crank

My new toys should be delivered this week and i have just realised that i have not got hold of a crank yet... Could i fit a STI crank to mine and if so what can that crank hold power wise? I have already a set of acl bearings for my crank so i can not get mine re grinded...

And does anyone have any in good condition lieing around or know anywhere where i can get one asap please..

Yeah i would rather get a brand new one but i want a crank that will handle around 500bhp for the distant future mods. Do you think a sti crank would be ok, i can get one for around £350..

standard cranks are very strong!

QUOTE from andy forest site.
Our own race car uses this type of block for outputs in excess of 800bhp. As testimony to the strength of the original Subaru crank, we have used the same crankshaft for 3 seasons racing, this includes using rpm up to 8500 and at speeds of up to 210 mph !
