I give up - What hoses?
 

So... all I want is a set of hoses for my MY00 just like the 9 ancillary set I bought for my Newage.

After mucho searching I can't find what I want, so I presume there's no ancillary kit as such for the MY00, but is probably made up of a couple of kits?

Looking for prices at the mo, so please point me in the right direction of what hoses/kits I need.

Thanks for that, but... I still can't work out what's right. There's a coolant set on the SFS site, but as I read it it's only up 98, but does mention v6. Would this one be right for the MY00?

Then apart from the obvious Induction, Turbo etc... I'm still lost. It's got to be easier than this to find the hoses.

I'm going to produce a guide once I've sorted the hoses.

I got my coolent set fromt he states £35 but i could only find kits that did the main pipes not all the heater ones etc.

I must admit Jason, I started looking into it and gave up. Maybe I should have asked someone on here. :-P

Had a look at Samco's site and found what I think is the rough equiv of the ancillary hoses on the Newage.

“Subaru Impreza GC8 EJ20 2.0 STi, WRX, GT Vers 3~6 97-00 TCS87/C Coolant 8 hoses”

This does seem to include the rad hoses though, so it should be interesting changing those as I've never done anything like that before.

I then reckon adding...

“Subaru Impreza GC8 EJ20 2.0 WRX, UK GT Ver 5&6 UK 99/00 TCS143 Turbo 3 hoses”

...and...

“Subaru Impreza/Legacy Fits onto TB770/997/1218 suitable for 90mm maf TB1095 Airbox hose 1”

...should get me all the hoses I need to 'tart' up the engine bay.


Will probably cost far too much, so I'll put them on my wanted list.

Rally Design were selling of all their Samco hose kits at half price,not sure if they have any left.I brought loads.
