Exhaust Revision needed!

I wanted a louder exhaust to give the P1 a little more presence, but the since the build and the 3” downpipe my current exhaust tested at 107dB to start but settled at 105dB. I don’t want to mess around with bungs as I fear performance issues when on track and negative side effects of the increased back pressure.

Can anyone recommend a nice true 3" back and centre that’s got a nice deep bass’y throbbing burble, but will still get me on track? I find the HKS is more raspy than burbley if that makes sense. Wouldn’t mind keeping the angled jap can look at the back either.

No such thing if you want to go on any track as some are 95 db noise
This is why i went for the revolution 93 db and able to track anywhere with out worry
I also enjoy day to day driving more too , But may be I'm old before my time !

I went for the slash tip and very happy with it , had a vortec 3" system befor tested at 110 db at brands and on changing the mapp stayed the same so no loss in power

 Yep but was a H&S vortec afterburner , as above i do enjoy the car more and can hear all the sounds that the exhaust was hiding like the cherp from having no DV and the induction noise's 8-)
When i first changed it took 3 or 4 drives before i realised that a load exhaust is not the be and end all
P.s. have ordered thoose tyres steve !
:shark:

I have to say C.J 's car sounded the nuts and surprisingly loud out on track.

Didnt Simon have the revolution System and has taken it off as it was setting of the db meters at goodwood

My revolution system lasted 1 week on my RA as for some reason it had a loud raspy tinny sound at high revs

The other problem is the quieter tracks are hard to pass db levels on turbo charged cars... anything modded will struggle at bedford, where i failed in a mates ppp fitted newage with CAI, as the induction raw was setting off the db meters

I just scraped through at Bedford with HKS hyper with the bung in, but there was about 35% of us that got sent packing.
