Tyre size

What it is the idea tyre size to put on newage wrx 17" wheels?

They might be going on Emma's type R. There will be a bit of weight in the boot of the car at times, so dont want them too wide that they rub.

Thanks

either 215/45/17 or 205/45/17 will both fit fine :)

Cheers mate

Looking at around £70 a tyre for the good makes in those sizes on Camskill

215/40 17"'s are also an option and are more the same size of the original 16's which i beleive come with 45 walls

Newage run a larger profile then the Classic.
On the Classic the popular choice is 215/40.

215/40/17 seems to be the popular size

Thanks peeps

Narrowed the choice down a bit

Yokohama Parada spec 2's - Had them before, could not fault them - £75 each
Falken FK452 - Emma has them on her 18's and loves them - £62 each
Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - Moley has them, swears by them - £77 each
GoodYear Eagle F1 GSD3 - Have them on my C230K, faultless - £96 each

Opinons please

Have only ever had prada spec 2's till this week and got some f1 v patterns and have only driven with them in the dry and seem really good . Pradas where very good in dry and wet but made me nervous in the moist conditions

FK452's get very good reviews as an all rounder
