Not sure of the best solution.

A detergent of some sort will work, due to density. Is it all in one area or is it patchy?

Just noticed you also mention decking. Is the timber treated at all? If so, that may well come off with just a pressure hose.

brick acid will remove it from drive
decking should be tanalized so as worzel said should just blast off with jet wash

Just done the decking with the jet wash waiting for it to dry...but that wernt that bad.
the worst is one big patch (about the size of a layed out t shirt) and 2 foot prints leading back to my garden so i cant deny it lol...

Good stuff

As Steve says, brick acid should do the job nicely on the drive
