camera should be back in action again this weekend - going up to a rally on Saturday in mid-wales. i think its gonna be dusty :mrgreen:

Which rally is that? There may be a trick to removing the "grain" effect I was getting because of all the dust in the air at Goodwood, but I binned most of my shots because of it.

Think there's a few more last minute entries coming in as well, as the Swansea Bay rally (weekend after) has been cancelled.

I can see several Impreza WRC and Escorts on the entry list, so that looks like a good rally to me! :doubleup:

I really want to get to Epynt or one of the other tarmac rallies, but they are all so far away it makes them awkward to fit in around work.

i'll happily show you round the Halfway area (and some of the best spots to watch) - know it like the back of my hand now. I'm planning on driving up there in the middle of the night on Friday evening, get a few hours kip in the car then out on the stage at about 8am. Will then drive back Saturday night (so i can still work Friday and be at home on Sunday).

Thanks very much for the offer, but theres just no way I can fit it in this weekend; especially Saturday as I may have some work on.

I expect to see a photo thread (so I can see what I missed) on Monday!
