What front discs?
Think i need some new front disks,
Looking on fleebay is there any benefit in groved/drilled/both etc? Heard drilled can crack? There are several cheaper versions out there is it best to avoid em? ie i http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...item45f0024700like the look of these Also like the look of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROTORDISC-SUBA...item5ad46e7072 Thoughts? |
i know Dukeboy has got those Rotordisc wavey discs in the larger size for brembos - but he's not that impressed.
its worth having a look on scoobynet at the group buys - theres several on at the moment for discs/pads http://bbs.scoobynet.com/group-buys-...vlar-pads.html http://bbs.scoobynet.com/group-buys-...-99-a-set.html http://bbs.scoobynet.com/group-buys-...group-buy.html Personally, would recommend the Godspeed discs or Aztec over an ebay job. |
Performance Friction.
Ask for Alyn @ http://asperformance.com/ Very good service and advice, he will give you different options depending how deep your pockets are.. I got mine from him.:10: |
Another vote for Alyn @ AS Performance - he'll take the time to chat through your options and then they'll turn up next day every time.
Performance Friction have a great reputation, but last time i looked they didn't make 295mm discs for the scoobs - only for the larger Brembos :( |
Performance friction pads and discs are awesome but ****ing expensive :D
On scoobynet, Ian Godney sells front discs and uprated pads for a good price and also gives them 1 years warranty even if you do track days. obviously better options out there but these are the best budget by far imo Ive tried both so hth |
Perfermance Friction would get my vote too, thats what going on mine next
