Shiney Headers

Is there actually any point in changing the headers, i am not gonna go much over 300 i wouldnt have thought. would they have any other benefit other than being shiney for a little while?? ta

Just port the OEM ones

mikey2 27-10-2010 07:06 PM

ok, cool, how do i go about doing that??

Anger 27-10-2010 07:12 PM

If you take them off, you can en-large the holes and make them smoother

Tones the man to answer this question as he has done a few sets i believe

SpecB 27-10-2010 07:19 PM

Either a. Send them to Tone or b. get a set from Harvey.

mikey2 03-11-2010 01:16 PM

Hi, i have a harvey smith up pipe for a classic, the heat wrap has come apart on the slip joint £40 and a lateral up pipe which is a three bolt fitment brand new £50.

asperformance 03-11-2010 04:32 PM

might be stating the obvious but the 3bolt one will only fit the GTspec style headers with the 3bolt flange...........the std 2bolt up-pipes are totally different style

midlife2 03-11-2010 07:10 PM

The Harvey up pipe is 2 bolt and will fit standard headers

I can indeed port your o.e headers :)

Tone did a great job on mine and I would say it's a must.
