Brake Pads

Evening All...

Well it seems the time has come for me to get some new pads again. I'm currently running Mintex M1144s with no complaints so I've been looking around for them again. It appears I can get the 1155 compound for basically the same price so I'm just wondering if anyone has used the 1155 pads?

Interested to know how they compare both from cold and when a bit warmer when giving it some...

Any thoughts or opinions welcomed :)

never really got on with 1144 personally and as you have found the 1155 is about the same price wise (shape dependant).........the 1155 is not much different cold but far greater potential when heated

there are other options (potentially better?) depending on use and exact set-up

p.s. carry these and various others in stock at "members deal"

Hi Alyn,

What would you recommend for a MY98 running 4-Pots with Grooved Discs with mainly road/fast road use??

To be honest, as I say I've got no real complaints about the 1144s but I wouldn't say no to a little more stopping power when pressing on so for the money the 1155s sound like they might be a good bet unless you can suggest better without breaking the bank! :)
