My pads on the rear of my 97 classic are nt touching the whole disc they re gripping o. about half the disc. Wat shud I do. Pads seem to have good amount left on them ??

Can you post a photo? Would we be able to see clearly what you mean?

How old are the pads?

Do you stand on them regularly?

sounds highly likely that you have either seized calipers/sliders or the pads are jammed in the caliper..............
