Cat repelent
Wonder if anyone knows if there is something I can use to spray on my car that won't kill my wax and stuff.
The problem I have is my cat and possibly others jump onto my bonnet etc and its causing some really nasty scratches on my bodywork. Needless to say I dont want to get the air rifle out to get them off lol. |
dont realy know, but i know cats realy dislike lemon.

anything citrus flavoured will discourage cats from going near - orange/lemon juice etc. you'll have a fruity smelling scoob tho :D
otherwise, there are those high pitch sound generator thingys, but younger people can still hear them, annoying things. |
Oranges, lemons, arsenic... Oops. Did I thunk that out loud?
|
Lion's piss is meant to work ,may be a bit trickey to get hold of though
|
Dogs work quite well, ours love to chase any cat that comes near the place.:martyn:

Shotgun should do the trick. :ok:

If you get Scott to polish your bonnet the little ****er will slip straight off :drive:

As for citric acid and such, not sure wax or polish would like that much. |

bluetac
my brother had a problem years ago with a cat nicking his fish from his pond so he rolled bluetac up the size of a pellet rolled it in talc and shout the cat hurts like hell i imagine and dont kill the cat the cat never come back lol.:hunt:

put a bin next to your car, an older woman will come along at some point and drop the cat in there for you
|
I know how you feel. My Mum's cats would always jump on my car and lay on the bonnet where the scoop is and the windscreen.
Not much you can do. The heat of the engine and so on will still attract them. Even if you use a lot of protection like wax of sealent the cats will still bugger it up. Where is the car kept? If in a driveway you could use a light bed sheet but this can be time consuming after a whiel and also in the summer will make your car sweat loosing the protection etc. Tricky one. Steve |
If someone like AutoGlym came up with a solution to the cat problem it would make them £££££££££s
