offset advice
 

searched n couldnt found the info, but i always thought impreza wheel offsets where 43-48.
ive sen a set of 17x7j wheels with a 50 offset. will these still fit a classic with standard 2-pots up front?
i think 50 means the wheels sits in the car more, so how does that affect handling ?

Standard Subaru fit is ET53 on a 7.5 x 17 inch rim.
Most aftermarket fit fromSubaru are ET45 or ET48.
ET45 and ET48 are OK upto 7.5 inch width but 8 inch on an ET45 or 48 stick out too much.

ET50 or 51 is recommended for 8x18

OE for classic is 53 on a 7 inch wide wheel, so a 50 will be fine, I have fitted wheels of ET46 and had no rubbing issues with OE size tyres

8x17 et 35 fit with slightly rolled arches
