what sort of mpg(driven carefully)should a 03 wrx ppp make on a tank?say £70 worth?

Steve_PPP 07-04-2011 01:33 PM

Driven carefully i get around 250 miles to about £60 on my '52 wrx ppp. So thats pretty much 25mpg.

simonairheadz 07-04-2011 02:01 PM

Hongkongfooi 07-04-2011 02:33 PM

Well I struggle to get 220 out of £70, although it is all around town and probably rarely get into 4th!.Last trip down to Wales however, with family, it did 320 miles to a tank which I was pleased with.

As I said on Surrey:

Just checked my spreadsheet for my WRX300 (55 WRX PPP) and that averaged 29.3 over the 15,000 miles I had it from new.
Max 36.9
Min 23.5

Never bothered with mpg figures:nono: so long as we use the same every week, then it's :ok:

Maybe worth cleaning the maf if you think it's a bit juicier than normal?

simonairheadz 07-04-2011 11:19 PM

Funnily enough just found out my maffs fubarred !!!!

SpecB 08-04-2011 07:02 AM

When mine was a 2.0 I used to get around 230 miles to a tank comfortably, now I'm 2.5 it's dropped slightly to around 200 - If I play and use Anti Lag at all it drops like a stone, in fact the anti lag switch has not been used for about 2 months now!
