my mates Bug eye sounds like its dying
 

Ok, my mate has just been round, his 51 plate bugeye is knocking badly, he has had to abandon till he can get it back to henfield, anyone got any idead as to what could be wrong, its a longshot without anyone seeing or hearing it, but so far he has ben told big end or a cam follower...
if it is a terminal engine problem, roughly how much should he expect to pay second hand/refurb???
or a cost of a re-build??

Oh, its a UK spec WRX wagon

Knocking normally means only 1 thing,
Knackered bottom end = Rebuild or 2nd hand engine
Either way bloody pricey
