Likewise mate, I even had the wife interested in this one as we love York. We would have made a proper long weekend of it.

My old man works in York and has lived up there for the last 6 or 7 years. Gives us a nice little holiday home up North when we fancy getting away for a couple of days.

We love it. There is always something to do there, great pubs and restaurants too.

My faves in the UK are: York, Harrogate & St Andrews.

Know what you mean, had my honeymoon in St Andrews. My brother was flying Electric Lightnings out of Lucus.
