Did you watch the GP this weekend? The new DRS rear wing stuff was far too effective - it was like the chasing car had about 200 bhp more! Made it a bit stupid!

Yeah, I watched it yesterday. I normally try and watch the first couple of races in the year to see if the rule changes for that year have actually made it interesting.

As I've said on several occasions (but hell, I'm going to say it again), it still annoys me that the so-called peak of competitive motor racing, is (in my opinion anyway ;)) one of the least interesting forms of motorsport out there.

Moving back on topic though... V8 Supercars: :doubleup: Seeing this video has also reminded me (very indirectly) that I must remember to make it to the DTM this year. The closest thing we'll see to V8 Supercars in the UK!

I take it that DTM is at Brands again?

If it is, I would be up for a day at that. I think DTM is wonderful stuff.

It was in early September last time I went (I think - don't quote me on that!), so I guess it'll be around then again: I'll have to have a peep on the Brands site and find out for sure. I assume they'll be on the Indy Circuit again.

This sounds like a day trip coming together...

I thought Steve Owen was already dead, did he fake his death and give up crocs to become a racing driver.. LOL on another note though... looks hot.. would not have been in the car
