Tried and failed to organise this in the past. Be great if you could, but the price needs to be keen to ensure the attendance is good.

Dan may of spoken to u, I pm'd him re event's but have not heard anything back yet.

sumo-scooby 17-05-2011 09:33 PM

Ill see what i can do, ive got a plan to make it happen ;-)

That is the bad thing with Dan he never get's back to you! Hey Dan Happy Birthday Mate

Steve_PPP 17-05-2011 10:19 PM

I'd certainly come along and have a look round as i was only holiday when Sumo did their open day, so not seen the place yet.

Not sure about a dyno run though, not much point for me at the moment!

Nige 17-05-2011 10:30 PM

If this comes off Allen I will by you enough mars bars to put on a Stone. For those of you who dont know Allen he could run around in a shower & still not get wet!!! A good Man he is but a very thin one :drive:

sumo-scooby 17-05-2011 10:41 PM

Haha yeah good for straight lines but got to relye on downforce to get around corners lol,
just want to get a good name and have a good time withe like minded peeps who are into there cars

Whiteone 17-05-2011 11:15 PM

I'd be up for this if I haven't sold my car. Be interesting to see what the old girl churns out on the rollers.

rossmarts 18-05-2011 08:02 AM

I'd certainly be interested.

Sumo Dan 18-05-2011 09:23 AM

Thanks Nige :ok:

I am very much up for this, just need to confirm a date with you lovely lot and I will make it happen.

Or if you can let me know roughly when you guys would like to get this done, I will make sure we have enough people here to keep the Dyno running.

You tell us the date and we will get a list running. This will include those that want to run on the RR and those that just want a nose around the facilities.

It would need to be a Sat or Sun and not clash with anything else. but we will be able to tell you that.

What about the 4-wheel alignment and SES providing on-site paintless dent removal as mentioned via PM.

munk 18-05-2011 07:47 PM

im sure when i rung up a while back they wernt open on the weekends?? which i thought was a bit odd for somewhere like this??:tumbleweed:

Jolly Green Monster 18-05-2011 09:39 PM

I will get some dates together and send you a PM pal, Not to sure about the dent removal thing but the RR day or Geo is very possible. I will get back to you later on about it.

scooby doo 19-05-2011 10:06 AM

depending on dates i would be up for this, got a few mods done since the last session at surrey,

I hear Langleys in Hastings has a brand new set of 4wd rollers

We can arrange the Dent guy, as we have a few we use regular. Just depends whether you will allow them on site bearing in mind you have a paintshop.

They will just be wandering around the car park with a bag of rods & hammers.

Sumo Dan 19-05-2011 05:41 PM

Not to sure I would be happy with a dent guy wandering around when we have a full bodyshop on site guys?

How does the 9th of July sound? It's a Saturday. If ok I will get it booked in and posted up asap :five:

Scott.T 19-05-2011 09:55 PM

Kinda understand Dan, but a dent guy isn't going to be taking work away from a full on bodyshop as people are only after removal of light car park dings, which would never be done in a full bodyshop due to cost and the fact the last thing alot of us want is to get panels painted.

If you can confirm to me via PM the date, costs for the RR run and 4-Wheel laser alignment, I will then kick of a dedicated SES Event thread to gather numbers.

impreza27 19-05-2011 11:18 PM

might be interested in that day.

bigemp 20-05-2011 09:32 AM

i would be up for this as well

yhpm pal.

We can arrange a Geo day at a later date, or before. Depends what you guys want :)

Leewr416 20-05-2011 08:32 PM

Im not, emailed sumo about some work on my scooby and still not heard nothing seems no matter which why you try and contact this company they dont get back to you, fair play to dan for coming on here and admitting they have issues but think il be spending my hard earned money with a company that wants the business

Nige 20-05-2011 08:46 PM

That is Sumo's biggest fault. They don't get back to you your dead right. This needs to change & Dan can change this & get us some very very good price's.
DAN Ive said this time & time again there's loads of local people who would spend there hard earned with Sumo/JRM given the chance. :drive:

AWD_Scott 21-05-2011 11:06 AM

I'd be up for this, depending on prices as it'd be a laugh to see what my lil' gx can do...

If anyone needs any more info/prices - even if it is workshop then drop me a PM or give me a call and I will make sure it happens.....Just for you guys :five:

I never get back to you Nige because you are here 99% of the time anyway ;)

Sandman 23-05-2011 10:48 AM

In talks re : prices as there needs to be some movement to make this a viable SES event.

Awaiting Dan to get back to me before I post up and start a dedicated thread. For Dan's reference here's a previous RR day http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...surrey+rolling

Haha it's ok, Nige knows that I love him really :ok:

Nige 24-05-2011 07:40 PM

:yeah:He really loves me Scott honest, he holds my hand & leads me in to the room full of bling stuff that i don't want or really need. Then all my money disappears. Dan is good at that. :drive:
