Roof rack
 

How are the roof bars attached onto the classic wagons? Drilled into the bodywork or do they have mounting points already there?

Reason for asking is that i'm after a wagon but don't want one with a roof rack, and certainly don't want one with holes in the roof instead!

They fit into brackets that are under the trim strip - you'd need to remove the bars then replace the roof strip if you want to take them off.
