I think www.roadradio.com have mobile units that come out to you

Scott.T 11-07-2012 09:28 PM

Wouldn't mind a smoke tint on my rears if we can get a group thing going on.

Sti mayhew 11-07-2012 09:51 PM

Tint wise are mobile and are excellent, they done my van perfect.

SpecB 12-07-2012 06:06 AM

Personally wouldn't use mobile fitters, where is the 'clean room'? Both my cars have been done indoors!

Had the forester done by twilight tints in Chichester, not one noticeable defect, however the front passenger window film caught the door rubber and pulled up a little (can't be seen from outside) and he's replacing the whole window film for me without question.

Sounds good to me as he must be 5 mins from home (Editted : looking and pics on site he is down Bexhill Road, Bridgeway).
Where have you heard good reports ?
If they sound good I will have no problem contacting them for a group session.

a few associates of mine have said about it, apparently he used to work for a company and has now gone on his own, im not sure if there are any reviews on his work

SpecB 12-07-2012 06:39 PM

Minimum light transmission on fronts is 70% mine have the lightest tint possible come out at 68% on the light meter as used by the tinter. I did have to sign a'off road use only' disclaimer however as he goes all the tinting for the police in Chichester he understands their position to be if they can see who is driving the car and if they are wearing a seatbelt then its fine.

We are 5% on rears, 20% back doors and 70% on the fronts

It's a strong possibility
It's sourcing the right grade tin at a competitive price.
The eBay stuff will fade after a while .

Have spoken to a few local guys and they buy in bulk , but are shelling ou lots of dosh.
