just changed mine as hadnt had it done in 5 years of ownership.....was very easy job

I didnt know I had a filter until it was serviced earlier this year.:lol:

I think a garage quotes it as a half hour job.....jeez took ten mins tops

But that time does include tea.:lol:

Yeah, really simple job and amazing how clogged up with rubbish they get. Did mine last summer, looked as if it had never been done!

Genuine Subaru is a ripoff. This is pretty much the same and works fine:

I've had 2 different non-Subaru ones. First was a Blueprint but this was only a dust filter (no carbon/charcoal) latest is a carbon one and is much better.
