friendly newbie question
 

hi guys im well aware this has likely been asked before so do forgive me for being repetetive!

i have asked in my newbie post but just though i would pop up here as well.

im looking at getting a 93-96 wrx turbo 2000, but i know nothing about the cars themselves, ie what to look for when buying one. i know about mods and tuning etc and relatively familiar with the engine but common faults are something i literally know nothing about!!!


someone fancy lending a helping hand??

Rust on the side cills and rear arches, always run on good fuel and if it's been modded that it's been mapped for mods... If you spot anything just throw the advert on here :)

Also rust around the top of the windscreen on a classic. If its got sideskirts and spats, which most do, check there not hiding rust.

Cool cool. Seen one on eBay no one is bidding as its got a cracked screen which needs replacing I'm not fussed by that to be fair.

Only problem is its three pics two are just too dark and limited info

Post ebay num up, you never know, car might be know to one of us.

Pretty poor listing, no real information, no mileage/history given.

im guessing yeah, finally had contact from the bloke and asked for a spec list engine etc all the usual. if it doesnt sell will view it to find out the real deal
