Is it worth lowering my wrx?

I'm looking at lowering my wrx but need to know the benefits make it worth doing, have found Apex springs lowering 40mm front 25mm rear on ebay for £112, anyone else fitted them? Would you recommend any other springs? How much should I expect to pay for fitting?

Yes!

Personally I'd go with the following.
  1. Uprated Anti Roll bars and links, Whiteline are the usual choice (I have Eibach). Most people go 22m front 24mm rear.
  2. Lowering springs, Eibach, Prodrive, etc.
  3. Anti Lift Kit

Add a good fast road geo setup which will probably involve some camber bolts and you'll be amazed! The ARB's make a massive difference on their own.

Try the eibach springs 1st with a set up. See if you like that. Then if it's still not to taste try anti roll bars. Another big benefit is tyres. What do you think is wrong with it at the moment? :?:

As above guys suggest ARB's(24mm rear and 22mm front, but you can go just fit 24mm rear one, this help),lowering springs we are tried only Pi springs which has been awesome,ALK(Anti Lift Kit) this will be good mod,but still think better will be fitting Anti Roll centre, which is good if you are lowering the car,we are fitted this and this transform driving on our wagon, solid droplinks will help too wit the camber bolts, but biggest difference you will feel with the good wheel alignment

I'd say start with lowering springs, and rear ARB/solid drops links.

Will make a huge difference over a standard WRX :)
