when under load
when I play wiv the engine ie puttin load on I can see the engine twisting I've checked engine mounts all good would a down plug or coil pack do this as it don't sound like the car is running on all 4? any ideas pls :sadno:

With a coil pack or cylinder down, the unbalance is more noticeable at idle speeds, it reduces as RPM is increased.

this is wat mine does got new plugs to try out if no diff I'll buy some new coil packs

i had this ,many years ago and mine was due to faulty coil pack..

what version are you? i got 4 used ones for V1/2, done about 6000 miles, all work fine. £60 the lot if you're interested. I work near chingford so not a million miles from you depending on what part of essex you're in.

i think the later ones had slightly more square coil packs but I can't say for sure as I have only ever had V1/2
