Anyone know any local cheap sprayers like chips away ?.
 

I've used chips away in the past to good results. But they are not the cheapest, which is largely due to the guy not being very local at all. Anyone know any good cheap bodyshops or painters in Hastings area, that can blend paint on a panel ?.

I've often wondered what the vodywork place is like that up by silver hill right at the top of battle road ?.

Don't go there....took Jo's old Fiesta there for some sills and paint. Could of done it better myself on the drive.
The owner I think lives in upper glen road and there is always an owners car on the drive half painted, so he will use it as transport.

Nige recommends Wayne (used to use him for Hot Hatch Centre) at BW Coachworks, who are just past the Post Office on Pondswood

Thanks, do you mean D.C Coachworks that are adjacent to ATS ? When I had my carlos sainz at the time, the quote I got to get the paintwork done was horrendous and didn't bother

But will have a look down drury lane and see if there another bodyshop and have a chat.
I'm looking to get those scratches done on the n/s at top, and don't need/want the complete panel painted -I'm Just looking to get them blended in, and seems that only chips away have the expertise or willingness to do this. Cost me about £150 to get the scratch sorted on the black scoob I at the time.

Its not that bad but for £150 or ideally less I would get it sorted - Its as much about the time and hassle as money, so unless they are local, and can do it same day ish. I might as well take my chances with chipsaway again.

No not the one by ATS, BW are up near the post Office depot.
Not found it yet myself, but recommended by Nige.

P.S It looks like Soverign Coachworks shut up shop / went bust last week.

Thank god i did not put the capri in there then as they would of been doing it now :shock: I go to M-tec also on pondswood did a great job on this

My car is in with Wayne at BW now for the bonnet and fog covers to be done have heard nothing but good things about his work and his time scale was just what i needed :doubleup: As i said i normanly use m-tec but there price was the same as Wayne's.
