Bench testing an instrument cluster?

Just wondering how I could go about bench testing an instrument cluster?

I'm selling a JDM one on eBay as I've now sold my impreza, it worked when I took it out 6 months ago but there's a guy from South Africa interested in buying it so I just want to double check it is still working ok before sending it thousands of miles away!!
