boost solenoid noise
 

I was changing my coolant yesterday and noticed a tapping noise comming from my boost solenoid when the engine is running.
Sounds like the noise you would get from a valve on the head that needed to be adjusted, but it is deffinately coming from the boost solenoid. is this normal or a sign that I should get a replacement ?

It is normal and more obvious on pre sept 95 models as it runs all the time.
The later model switches it off at idle.
