Hopfully it will look awesome. Its having two rear arches sorted, bumper at the front repaired due to a small crack under the headlight, full front end painted including the whole bonnet and both sides fully including skirts. not the boot and bumper as they were mint, all for £1300 .

Hopfully next year its getting put up on axle stands for a few months to have everything underneath taken off that will come off and powder coated black again. ive managed to re waxol all that i can get too but i need mounts and sub frames off to do the rest properly.

All four undersides of the wheel arches have been cleaned and repainted underneath with hammerite smooth silver, shocks have been off, stripped, repainted and new lowering springs put on. just want some dry weather to drive the bloody thing now. :angst:

Can't wait to see it chap, it'll look stunning. You gonna drag Kris into helping with the underside, considering he's had so much practice ;)

Yeah im sure he'll give me some tips here and there. but basically what ever i can undo will come off, get sorted and put back on fully poly bushed. I must be going :cuckoo:

scoobie_paul 16-10-2012 08:54 PM

Ive just extended the back of my garage as it had no back on it if that makes sense. Drive into the garage then into the garden etc.
The nose used to stick out by a few inches once in and get all sorts of crap on it plus rain and snow from the good english weather, so i put another 8ft of shelter on the back to keep it dry and give me a work bench area . The wife isn't happy :wife: but i cant have fresh paint getting cack on it! :nono:

scoobie_paul 16-10-2012 09:03 PM

haha i like your style :10:

SpecB 17-10-2012 06:25 AM

Did you get the suspension done locally? Old do with getting mine looked at but can't be bothered driving over to Newhaven!

scoobie_paul 17-10-2012 10:57 AM

Its just lowered on springs my brother did it for me, quite straight forward as long as you have a spring compressor ;-)
