Nige 23-11-2012 10:31 PM

Looking good mate. What do you think of it?

midlife2 23-11-2012 10:33 PM

Havent used it in anger yet but the handling is far superior to my old sti ra

SamSTI 23-11-2012 11:15 PM

ralliart didz 24-11-2012 12:46 AM

SpecB 24-11-2012 08:00 AM

MIDLIFE 24-11-2012 08:11 AM

munk 24-11-2012 09:20 AM

Very nice!!

Steve_PPP 24-11-2012 11:58 AM

Really liking that, looks perfect. Definitely leave the low rear spoiler and keep it original, the STI one weighs a lot more than the low one and its all about keeping it lightweight on the Spec C.

Bolesroor 24-11-2012 03:40 PM

Love the car :10:

How much lighter are they over a std STI?

After going down the modding route with my ra I am going to keep the spec c t25 standard so the spoiler is going to stay

XRS 24-11-2012 05:58 PM

When I ordered my T25 I had the option of the carbon spoiler, but as it was significantly lighter it needed a different boot lid as it would otherwise fly open when you pressed the release.

I decided to go for it, but after waiting for a year or so I gave up on Iain Litchfield ever getting it sorted.

midlife2 24-11-2012 06:01 PM

Did think of a carbon spoiler as the car came with one fitted but was removed somewhere in its lifetime

Anger 24-11-2012 07:04 PM

The one I had on the trooper came off a T25

Surely you'd just use different torsion bars.

BIG"E" 24-11-2012 09:39 PM

Looks :10:

Yes, that's all it is, but Iain didn't want to faff about with that, it was going to be easier to change the whole boot lid.

You can use a different spring rate to stop the boot from a K.O. on your chin :martyn:

XRS 25-11-2012 02:10 PM

The option of the carbon spoiler was at no cost to me, so I went for it. Just like a few other things I specced on the car originally they didn't materialise.
No regrets though, I like it just as it is :)

Anger 25-11-2012 03:03 PM

The boot would have to be heavier.... Why add weight and to be honest, it didn't fly up that fast

ScoobyStu 25-11-2012 04:43 PM

Nice mate. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh so to speak! :-)

tbtstt 26-11-2012 11:49 AM

BIG"E" 31-12-2013 12:46 PM
