This is something i noticed on my falken fk452s, and i ended up changing mine before they hit the wear markers. When they're down to 2 or 3mm they just seemed to lose grip in the damp/wet.
But saying that, for the price, they're excellent. Even though i changed them early, i still got a good 20k out of them and thats with several track sessions/Ring trips and a bit of hooning about
