seeing as VAG have owned SEAT and SKODA for over 10years there products all come out of the same parts bin.............no VAG company makes their own engines at all, they are simply re-badged to each vehicle and then a suitable ECU employed to provide the needs for a specific class
if the badge doesn't put you off (and why should it as its just an AUDI/VW with different clothes) then a SKODA Octavia/Superb are very good value
