They got wider in each shape update. Bugeye were best for the lanky folks (me included, although maybe not after Christmas!
), blob got a bit wider and hawkeye were wider again. The hawk sti's i've sat in are less supportive on the sides, don't hold you as well in the corners imo.
Not sure why you found a hawk with narrow seats? Pretty sure there was no different in hawk seat design between wrx/sti other than colour, but someone might be able to correct me on that?
