Thats a valid point, but a little harsh i feel (the previous comments are all positive....)

Of the members on SES competing in events (yourself, JGM & CJ off the top of my head) you've all done cracking jobs with your cars this year. But SES as a club, for whatever reason, has unfortunately not attended those events. If we'd taken 10+ scoobs along for a day out (as we normally do for SES Meets) then there would certainly be photos included in the review of the year. For example, of the track pics above. I think we took about 20 scoobs to Germany. And the Goodwood charity trackday was even more than that, with about 10 of us having track time. That was a real club day out

Its a shame we can't get to more, but as you can see we pretty much run an event or two every month and everyone has to balance this with work/family time. Travelling longer distances to events is expensive in fuel, hence why a lot of people don't want to travel to venues outside of the SES region. Myself and Scott (the current events organisers) also have to prioritise our time to organise meets/trips that will be well attended - hence we focus on things within the South East. We can't please everyone, but we do our best to please as many people as possible.

Several people do post up other events (such as the series you compete in). Please keep doing so, as its the best way to raise awareness and you never know, it only needs a few people to raise their hand and that'll spark more interest. I'm sure there's plenty of members who'd like to watch this sort of stuff, but don't go through worry of travelling a hundred miles only to be standing there on their own for the day! If you get a group wanting to go, then great stuff
