IIRC its only the springs that are different, Spec C having a stronger spring rate.

Sti Pink springs are lower but still have a lower spring rate than the Spec C. Shocks are the same though....

(not 100% sure but I seem to recall there being something about the spec C spring rates being different on the various types, I.E. the 16' wheel version over the 17')
