Thanks Anger, I didn't realise people thought that way about him on here, should have posted up earlier.
I bet that was gutting about the 2.1, sorry to hear about that, hope it all works out!
I'm amazed mine lasted as long as it did in that condition, I've also noticed that I've never seen the engine light come up, not even when it blew up. Any tiny little thing and my Bug used to pop it on straight away so I'll have to look into that, wouldn't surprise me if the bulb has been taken out or the wire has been cut - another nice little surprise
