Well, had a right result in the end. Cancelled the goodyears and ended up getting Faulken 452's (cheers for the recommendation Steve
).
Gotta say first impressions are excellent. I know they were always going to feel better than a set of worn out tyres but they have transformed the ride and seem pretty sticky when warmed up a bit. The other nice thing is they have a bit of a rub strip which will help protect the wheels. Not bad price either. They were £480 fitted/balanced etc, which is £120 cheaper than the goodyears were.
The tyre place reckon they will give better grip than the goodyears, but wont last as long, which with my mileage isnt really an issue.
