I would say you won't be far wrong either way.

What is it you are after? Are you trying to get loads of power when you mod it?

IMHO (for what little it's worth) go for the STi, do some minor mods and a remap to try and get it to about 340bhp then spend your money on getting the suspension properly sorted. I honestly think that's where you make the real difference
