I agree with what everyone else is aayig abouttje starter motor. In the past let's just say I've had some unsavoury cars (mk3-4 escorts) and I had the starters go on me. On way I used to check if te starter was sticking was by giving the starter its self a tap. Seems like a quick way to eliminate sticky starter. Hope you get it's sorted cheaply ad quickly tho mate.
