This cropped up a while ago..... and this was the response from Admin (which I think all of the mods agree with too).

We are able to moderate our forums to meet with certain legal requirements and to look after our members best interests, as best we can. Having to keep more than one media up to date and fully moderated would take up too much time
As a forum/club, we would obviously prefer members to use the main SES site
