Your insurers would pay for the roundabout, but not for any road closure.

If you crashed on the M25 and closed it for hours you (or the insurers) wouldn't get charged for it being closed, only repairs.

It's a grey area, as it's a unique place.

The fact is that people in insurance a lot more clever than me have looked at it, and know they can get out of paying claims.

Wether i agree with it or not is irrelevent.
