Amazes me why people do it? you effectivly add a depth defect by doing so!! A safer way is to set up a camera and take photos as you go along.... befores/durings and afters......

I defiantly see where your coming from but wouldn't you get the same with overlapping passes? Besides it gets overlapped with other compounds to the desired requirement so in the end the paint level is even, ive never had a problem with it before and lots of other detailers use the same process. I guess everyone has there own technique
